- The sounds okapis make are,"chuff'" (when they greet each other),"bleat" (baby okapis some times bleat to their mothers) and they also "moo".
- Okapi's scientific name is Okapi Johnstoni.
- They are also called the forest giraffe, or zebra giraffe.
